Max and Rachel began dating in November 2023. Max shared thanksgiving with Rachel's family and her dog Poptart that year.

In April the following year Max surprised Rachel by accidentally making her the only significant other invited on a trip to Tulum with his medical school friends. Rachel quickly bonded with the group and now many of them are counted amongst her closest friends.

Max & Rachel initially did not tell everyone in their residency program they were dating. If anyone hadn't heard, it became obvious when they wore matching tie dye outfits to the radiology department crawfish boil.

Not long after they started dating, they were forced to do a year of long distance while Rachel completed her fellowship at Georgetown University. Every trip to visit Rachel became a great opportunity for the two to see the many tourist attractions the capital has to offer.

Max and Rachel always commit to their Halloween costumes. House of the Dragon was big in Halloween of 2024.

Rachel cemented her status as an adopted New Orleanian by riding in the IRIS parade. This photo is from the IRIS ball.

This photo is from Max & Rachel's first trip to Europe together. It was all sunshine, even on the cloudiest of British days.

One of the highlights of Max and Rachel's trip to London was having champagne in the London eye.

Greece is one of Rachel's favorite countries.

Max and Rachel adopted a puppy they named Rollo after a character from one of their favorite shows, Vikings (also the candy). Some of his nicknames include "Rolando," "Roly Poly," and "Rolando Polando."

Max proposed to Rachel in the Plaza de España in Seville.

The couple's latest trip was to see the solar eclipse in Spain. They look forward to many more adventures together.
